App on Firestick 4K kicks me out while watching live streamIn the Interim, try clearing the cache of all the apps and restart the Firestick and see if that solves the issue. Long-term, revert to CatchOnTV 1.6.2 until optimization on Firesticks is complete.

If You’d Like To Switch Back To The CatchOnTv App 1.6.2I discovered my old Fire TV with 4K Ultra HD (3rd Generation) and deleted all the previous data (apps and settings). Then, I imported my previous settings from my Fire TV Cubes (3rd Generation) data. I reinstalled my VPN and the CatchOnTV app (1.6.2), and it’s working perfectly for me. There’s no buffering, and I can change channels without any errors. I’ll use as many features as possible and report back if there are any issues.

Thank you, that helps others on which CatchONTV app version to choose when needed. -
If You’d Like To Switch Back To The CatchOnTv App 1.6.2@Arthur
Thank you for clarifying the procedure to download a file using downloader and how to properly incorporate a VPN to ensure uninterrupted file download. -

Thank you for reporting it’s working. Has it been stable for you for viewing and changing channels back and forth between programs? -
If You’d Like To Switch Back To The CatchOnTv App 1.6.2@CaboGuy
That could be my mistake with what I posted. Apparently, there’s pros and cons to both practices of leaving on or turning off your VPN when downloading a file to install on your device.@arthur
Please clarify if we should leave the VPN on or turn the VPN off when downloading a CatchONTV app file or MoaTV app file using Downloader. -

So, everything is working with that version? -
UI too confusing@Raejck
I understand what you’re going through. What OS version and device is she using? What content does she watch? -
2.0.11 Kicks Me Out (NOT-Solved)Thanks for bringing it to the communities attention. Glad it worked out for you. Maybe the developers looked at it and fixed something? Here’s to buffer free streaming.

If You’d Like To Switch Back To The CatchOnTv App 1.6.2@Raejck
What version of CatchOnTV were you on? 1.6.0, 1.6.2, 1.6.3?
What device are you using it on?
I went back to see if 1.6.2 would work and it did, but then I went back to MoaTV 2.0.11. Working pretty well for me. -
2.0.11 Kicks Me Out (NOT-Solved)Not exactly sure why yours is doing that because it doesn’t happen to mine. After a uninstall, how are you installing 2.0.11? Are you updating 2.0.9 to 2.0.11 or using the downloader code for 2.0.11?
A small number of customers may experience issues during the update. If you encounter this problem, simply reinstall the app using the updated URL http://aftv.news/5472026 or short code 5472026. This should resolve the issue instantly.

Is there a code for 1.6.3 available? -
Attn: MOA staffDid you totally uninstall the CatchONtv app, clear the cache, and restart the device before trying again each time? Are you using Downloader? Just trying figure out why the file is corrupted. There’s also another code for 1.6.0 (8167457).

Try redownloading the file as it might’ve not quite downloaded all the way. -
My live and favourites needs attention@CaboGuy
I get that losing your favorites and history isn’t ideal. I have so many movies & shows to watch/have watched it gets frustrating trying to remember it all. I have a tracker site I use (Trakt) that keeps all my views and watchlists on. I rely on it to know where I’m at on episodes, movies. There might be other trackers, that’s just the one I use. Free & VIP versions. Trakt app.
