Which section are you viewing? USA Major Leagues MLB or PPV EVENT MLB

USA Major League MLB games only allow you to watch the live feed already selected.

PPV EVENT MLB gives you the option to select:
A. The Home teams live broadcast with their set of announcers.
B. The Away teams live broadcast with their set of announcers.

The way it’s set up now, no matter which of the two you pick it shows the Home teams live broadcast.

I can’t verify at the moment but they should have different graphics and commentary. What do you see?

I’m intrigued by the prospect of an evolving platform, but I’m concerned about potential issues like those with the Firesticks. The TZBox’s current processor chip is older than what I can find elsewhere. Additionally, I noticed a 30-day service warranty. What happens if hardware performance problems arise after day 31? Will I have to buy a new TZBox?

Thank you for taking the time to investigate this matter. While I believe that the community forum monitors are undoubtedly customer-oriented, the support agents I’ve interacted with have a different perspective. Instead of addressing the issue, they seem more inclined to leave my needs unchanged and adopt a “take it or leave it” attitude.

Is it the same box that was listed before? If so that technology seems dated. I’m not sure I want to invest that amount of money in an older box than what’s available out there today such as an Android AOSP TV Box.

In the PPV & SPT Event Section - MLB - there’s always been the option to watch either teams live broadcast, because when you click on the game listing a pop up of both teams comes up and you can pick the home team or the away team. Ever since MoaTV Enterprise took over, most of the time they only show the home teams live broadcast feed and not the away teams live broadcast feed. I know both teams live feeds can be played because I’ve seen it on a game before. This didn’t happen last year with CatchOnTV.
I’ve talked to support about this for weeks and nothing has been done about it. I don’t understand why this can’t be fixed unless they don’t have the capacity to show both feeds in their setup. It’s really disappointing.

Interesting. I did the same thing with both CatchOnTV 1.6.2 and MoaTV 2.0.11 and they both worked fine on all categories. The only thing from 2.0.11 was a slow startup time of around 40-45 seconds.

1. How are you exiting out of the MoaTV to go to a different app causing the MoaTV to freeze? Is it:
   A. Hitting the back button twice on the remote to
   go back to the FireTV OS Home Screen?
   B. Hitting the Home button on the remote to go
   back to the FireTV OS Home Screen?
2. When using MoaTV app, does it seem sluggish or have any other issues while watching or navigating within the app?

Can we see the specs for this device? Are both offerings of the same box with different remotes?

That all looks good. Did you upgrade from 1.6.x to 2.0.9 or 2.0.11? It might be a good idea to uninstall the current MoaTV app, restart the FS, turn off the VPN when downloading 2.0.11 using downloader, install 2.0.11 and try the MoaTV app again. Report back your findings if you’d like.

Can you check the storage space to see how much is being used? I’m wondering if there’s a lot of total apps taking up a lot of space and processing power if this is a big part of the buffering issue. I’m not sure if it’s recommended for the FS to be updated to the latest firmware update or not.

I recently uninstalled the 1.6.2 version of the Fire Stick 4K app (which was functioning correctly) and installed the 2.0.11 version. At the moment, it appears to be working well. The initial loading time to the Home Screen was slower on the Fire Stick 4K compared to my Fire TV Cube, but as far as the limited performance I’ve observed, it seems stable. If there’s any buffering, I’ll report it.

Thank you for the information about the stability of 1.6.3. Some have reported having glitches with it, but like you I find it stable also on 1.6.2.

Thank you. So, reverting back is helping her now, and it’s not as confusing? Is it stable for her? I’m just trying to confirm that things are going well for her now.

I like the new version as well. The learning curve hasn’t been steep for me as there’s a lot of familiarity with the OS.

Was the 1.6.3 on your Onn device stable for most of the time? Are you using WiFi or an Ethernet cable from a router?

Are you using the red chat icon on the bottom right of this community forum to proceed with your transaction or somewhere else? I just tried the whole process and it was functioning fine. Try closing out the app, clear the device’s app cache and restart the device to try again. If anything you can just say hello and they’ll walk you through it.

2. Regarding the functionality of the Firesticks, some users, including myself, have reported no issues, while others have encountered problems with them. It appears that MoaTV 2.0.11 has been recently improved, so you can try installing it and testing its functionality. Alternatively, you can revert to CatchOnTV 1.6.2 or 1.6.0 to explore that approach.
