After watching various content on my primary media player’s PlugFlix, I anticipated some variation in the recommendations displayed on the Home Screen or other categories under Movies/Series. However, I discovered that there’s no discernible difference between the watched PlugFlix on one media player and the unwatched PlugFlix on another. Surprisingly, the watched PlugFlix hasn’t undergone any changes or additions to enhance personalized viewing. How long does one have to watch content before seeing personalized changes?

You’ve mentioned that your router is on a shelf under the television. How high off of the ground is it and is it enclosed? From what I’ve learned over the years it’s best to have the router in a central location away from anything that can cause interference with the router’s broadcast signals and at least 5-7 feet off of the floor (single floor). I have a mesh system out in the open in the center of my place and it has WiFi 6 along with the two more common WiFi bands (2.4GHz & 5GHz) and each of my media devices is connected to a mesh node via Ethernet cable. Works really well. I have minimal buffering if any at all.
There’s also wired Ethernet adapters available to do a direct connect from your router to your FS.

Understood. Will keep trying to use it and let’s see how it does as far as personalizing the experience for each viewer. So far, not much imho.

I'm intrigued by the recommendations that could be given by the viewing of content, but the total amount of content in Plugflix needs to be increased to get the desired effect. It's rather limited at the moment, so if the most popular content from the past decade are entered into Plugflix from all regions then that should help with viewership and recommendations. I've watched quite a lot of content that I'm interested in on Plugflix and there doesn't seem to be any change in the content displayed on my individual Plugflix page(s).

Most of the content I want to watch is located in VOD and not Plugflix. Can the content from VOD be transferred over to Plugflix?

If Plugflix and VOD are run by different teams, then the recommendations based on genres are coming solely from the content that’s watched in Plugflix and not VOD, correct?

In Plugflix, do you exclusively watch content in Plugflix to receive AI recommendations, or do you also explore content anywhere on MoaTV, such as content on the home page? When searching for content (Movies, Series, etc.), you’ll notice that some content isn’t included in the Plugflix results. Additionally, at the bottom of the search results, you’ll typically find content that’s already available on Plugflix. For educational purposes, which content should you prioritize or does it matter where the content comes from to get recommendations in Plugflix?

The bigger remote is actually a Bluetooth remote so you have to go into the settings and pair it with the TZBox so that the remote will function properly.

Thank you so much for replying promptly. This is exactly the answer I was looking for. I’m looking forward to the evolving plugin that is PlugFlix! Keep up the good work.

Has anyone figured out the way PlugFlix works? I understand the content angle, but what does it personally do for each viewer? Do you just keep watching Plugflix content and eventually there will be personalized recommendations on what to watch? Would really like to have a watchlist involved as well.

Personally, I clear the MoaTV app’s cache and restart my device every time.

I do believe it depends on the original source, but that’s something that would be very helpful for certain dialogues for movies, series or live tv.
