Will we forever need a vpn?

I don’t wanna waste money on a vpn if I don’t need to and the free ones kills the speed so bad you have to purchase one. When will it get back to the good ole days with no vpn needed!?

At the moment, VPN requirements can depend on your region and certain network restrictions from ISPs. In some cases, these limitations are outside of our direct control, which is why a VPN may still be needed for stable access.

That said, our team is continuously working on improving connectivity and reducing the need for VPN usage wherever possible. The goal is definitely to get things as close as possible to the “good old days” with smoother, direct access.

In the meantime, if you’re experiencing issues without a VPN, we recommend: • Restarting the app and your device
• Trying a different internet connection (Wi-Fi vs mobile data)
• Clearing app cache or reinstalling the app

Right after the switch to MoaTV I deleted my VPN app and reinstalled them as suggested on all three different devices and reinstalled them and I’ve had just minimal buffering issues since. The last couple of days have been better since someone recommended using certain VPN locations instead of what I normally use.
