Firestick reboot

Ever since the new operating system my Firestck locks up. When I exit out of Moa tv to go watch a different app the Moa tv app is frozen most of the time. I have the restart the Firestick to fix the problem. I have reloaded the app, cleaned cache, with no success. Never had this issue with the old app.

Can you check the storage space to see how much is being used? I’m wondering if there’s a lot of total apps taking up a lot of space and processing power if this is a big part of the buffering issue. I’m not sure if it’s recommended for the FS to be updated to the latest firmware update or not.

That all looks good. Did you upgrade from 1.6.x to 2.0.9 or 2.0.11? It might be a good idea to uninstall the current MoaTV app, restart the FS, turn off the VPN when downloading 2.0.11 using downloader, install 2.0.11 and try the MoaTV app again. Report back your findings if you’d like.

I’ve removed the Moa app and reset the firestick back to factory settings. Started with a clean firestick and then reloaded Moa tv. No luck!! Thanks

@stevenewsom, can you please clarify what you mean by " locks up"? You said that after exiting the MoaTV app and watching a different app, the MoaTV app freezes most of the time. Your report is unclear.

Interesting. I did the same thing with both CatchOnTV 1.6.2 and MoaTV 2.0.11 and they both worked fine on all categories. The only thing from 2.0.11 was a slow startup time of around 40-45 seconds.

1. How are you exiting out of the MoaTV to go to a different app causing the MoaTV to freeze? Is it:
   A. Hitting the back button twice on the remote to
   go back to the FireTV OS Home Screen?
   B. Hitting the Home button on the remote to go
   back to the FireTV OS Home Screen?
2. When using MoaTV app, does it seem sluggish or have any other issues while watching or navigating within the app?

I'm having the problem every time on start up i have to re start firestick

Personally, I clear the MoaTV app’s cache and restart my device every time.
