2.0.11 Kicks Me Out (NOT-Solved)
-
Using a Fire TV Stick 4K running the 2.0.11 Moa TV App.
When pressing the 3 bar button on the remote, to bring up the guide,
the guide attempt's to load, then I am kicked completely out of the app .
I have cleared the cache, restarted the device, uninstalled and re-installed the app,
the problem persists.
This is the only problem that I am having with the 2.0.11 version of the app, and it's not a deal breaker, as I can use the select button and reach the listings guide. -
Not exactly sure why yours is doing that because it doesn’t happen to mine. After a uninstall, how are you installing 2.0.11? Are you updating 2.0.9 to 2.0.11 or using the downloader code for 2.0.11?
A small number of customers may experience issues during the update. If you encounter this problem, simply reinstall the app using the updated URL http://aftv.news/5472026 or short code 5472026. This should resolve the issue instantly.

Just went in and fired up the 2.0.11 Moa TV app on my Fire TV stick 4K
Hit the 3 bar button on the remote and the program guide now opens as it should.
One of those things that just magically fixes itself.
No idea what the problem was, but it's now working as it should. -
Well it's back !
Using the three bar button on the remote to get to the program guide kicks me out of the app.
This on a Fire TV Stick 4K (1st generation)
I have reset the stick back to factory settings.
Reinstalled the MoaTV app with Downloader.
The Fire TV Stick has 3.2 GB of 5.32 GB storage available. -

Do you happen to have another FS to try? -

Do you happen to have another FS to try? I have a couple of FTV devices and will try to simulate what’s happening with you and will report back my results.Your device has a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, 1.5 GB RAM. Wiki says it’s eight years old and maybe the remote needs replacing?
The remote works just fine.
The guide loads and shows no information, for all channels, then, about 2 to 3 seconds
after the guide loads,
I am kicked out of the Moa app, back to the Fire TV Stick home screen. -

Agh, I was thinking that the action of just pushing the remote button (3 bar/hamburger) was crashing the MoaTV app.

Using the three bar button on the remote to get to the program guide kicks me out of the app.”Then the sequence is you click on the 3 bar button and the MoaTV app goes into the guide but hangs up and crashes back to the Home Screen or all the way back to the FS OS main screen?
When you click on the 3 bar/hamburger button the MoaTV app goes to the guide which then repopulates the guide to the correct time and I think there’s a hangup there by which either the processor isn’t processing the information correctly or able to or the software itself has a glitch. -

Understood and thank you.@jack-thripper
I just tried on my FTV Cube 3rd Generation simutlating your situation by clicking on the guide button (3 bar/hamburger) and the guide populates to the correct time in the watched programs point of progression. I did this multiple times without any glitches whatsoever.
I also clicked the top part of the FS remotes ring and this brings the individual live station’s guide up and if you click the center/select button the whole guide comes up. I also performed this action multiple times without any glitches as well. -

If it was working fine on my device, I would not be posting about the problem.
This is not a deal breaker for me, as I can pull up the program guide from the select button
on the remote, I just can't get the guide from the 3 bar/hamburger button.Trying to duplicate the problem on FTV Cube 3rd generation which has a different processor and ram is like comparing apples to oranges.
Now, please don't get me wrong, I do appreciate the help. -
