MoaTV 2.0.11 not working well.

    The 2.0.9 MoaTv update messed up my app forever.

    When i install 2.0.11 the same problems occur. Favorites do not work, scrolling through MyLive crashes my app, i cant even search up channels. So i resorted back to CatchOn 1.6.2 and the MyLive and favorites work but the movies and tv channels dont work.

    Does anyone have the code for the first MoaTv app? It was before 2.0.9 but it still had the MoaTv interface.

      The issues you’re describing (favorites not working, crashes in MyLive, and search problems) are not expected behavior in version 2.0.11. These are typically related to residual data conflicts from previous versions or incomplete update transitions.

      We recommend trying the following steps to resolve the issue:

      1. Uninstall MoaTV completely from your device

      2. Restart your device (important to clear cached processes)

      3. Reinstall the latest version (2.0.11) using the official code

      4. Before opening the app, go to settings and ensure the app has full storage permissions

      5. Avoid restoring old app data or backups from CatchOn versions

      Regarding older MoaTV versions prior to 2.0.9:
      We do not provide or support legacy builds, as they may no longer be compatible with current servers and can cause partial functionality issues (like VOD not working).

      CatchOn 1.6.2 working partially (Live OK, VOD not working) is expected since older systems are no longer fully supported.

      If the issue persists after a clean reinstall, please send us:
      ✓ Your device model (e.g., Firestick, Android box, etc.)
      ✓ A short screen recording of the issue

      This will help our team investigate further and provide a more targeted fix.

        This app is complete garbage since the change to Moa from Catchon. I’m constantly having tom force stop the app and clear cache multiple times a day just to get anything to play. When watching an episode of a show through series you can’t switch from show to a different show with going the steps above. The last few days the app won’t even open. The open screen is way too cluttered with crap when opening. It’s become a huge disappointment. I feel like they worried to much about selling their boxes than keeping the app working properly.

          We are really sorry for your frustration. However, we have not received any similar reports about this issue before, and there does not appear to be a known problem with the app related to what you described.

          The issue you are experiencing should be resolved by reinstalling the app. Please try uninstalling and reinstalling it, then check again.

          Note: If you are using a VPN, please turn off the VPN.

            I’ve done all the rebooting and “trouble shooting” there is. I’ve been having issues also

              @rebretz000 @billysellas There is always the option of using the old version app (CatchON) if you face consistent loading issues every day. Just have to uninstall the new version of the MoaTV app and then install the old version of the CatchON TV app.

                  @Tuppersoprano, have you contacted our Live Chat Support and followed the troubleshooting?
                  Also, there is always the option of using the old version app (CatchON) if you face consistent loading issues every day. Just have to uninstall the new version of the MoaTV app and then install the old version of the CatchON TV app.
