Thanks for the feedback — we understand how that extra step can feel inconvenient.

At the moment, on Google TV devices, the player requires a manual navigation (left/right) to switch into full-screen mode. This behavior is tied to the current app interface and how playback controls are implemented on that platform.

That said, improving the playback experience — including launching videos directly in full screen — is something we’ve already flagged to the development team. It’s a common request, and we agree it would make things much smoother.

For now, the left/right navigation is the intended workaround, but we’re hoping to streamline this in a future update.
